A Birthday to Remember!
Want to give your child a birthday they’ll talk about for years? Expedition Reptile brings an exciting, hands-on reptile show right to your event! We educate about these amazing animals while letting kids (and adults!) touch and hold them in a safe, fun way.
Our shows are fully interactive and put the birthday star front and center—they get to be our official assistant! They’ll hold a ball python to wow their friends, amaze everyone, and feel like a star.
Everyone gets a chance to touch or hold some reptiles (we encourage grown-ups to join in too—it’s fun for ages 5 to 105!). We also bring a special gift: When you book, tell us the birthday child’s favorite color and shirt size, and we’ll bring them a free Expedition Reptile t-shirt to keep!
Get your cameras ready—highlight reptiles include our friendly 10-pound Iguana Sweetpea (you can pet him and learn about his “language”), and we finish with our grand finale: a huge 35+ pound boa constrictor named Cuddles!
We are a traveling reptile show serving MA, CT, RI, ME, NH, NY, and VT only. We’re fully insured and have over 15 years of experience raising and presenting reptiles.
What We Bring & How the Show Works
We showcase upwards of 15 reptiles, one by one, starting with smaller, cute snakes and lizards, then building up to bigger ones.
We share fun facts about each animal: their habitats, lifespans, diets, how they defend themselves, and more. This helps kids learn while having a blast and helps clear up common myths about reptiles.

You choose the style that fits your group:
- Full Presentation — Perfect for older kids or mixed ages. We present each reptile (about 45 minutes), then leave extra time for touching and holding (especially at the end for larger groups). Great for learning and interaction.
- Petting Zoo Style (Display Only) — Best for little ones (like daycare age). Kids come up to see, touch, hold, ask questions, and take photos—no long presentation, just lots of hands-on fun.
For smaller audiences, we pass reptiles around during the show. For larger groups, we save time at the end so everyone gets a turn to touch and hold calmer animals. We always leave extra time for more hands-on, holding, and photo opportunities!

Pricing & Time
- Base cost: $350 + a small travel fee (usually around $50, depending on your location).
- $50 booking fee to secure your spot (this is subtracted from the final balance).
- Each show runs about 1 hour total.
- We bring upwards of 15 reptiles.
- Hands-on happens during the show.
- Birthday star gets to be our assistant!
- We always leave extra time at the end for more holding, touching, and photos.
